Heat shields to lower IAT all done. With water sprayer. Now Temps at MAF sensor are lower by an easy 30C/60F in city driving and the IC temps can be kept an easy 6C/12F COLDER than ambient. :) :) :)

Took out resonator and opened up some airflow into/onto the air cleaner box. Now the IAT drop MUCH more quickly, less than 1 block after a stop at a light instead of about 5 blocks. :) :) :)

Water sprayed onto IC, a real fine mist. Can't really see it. :( But it does lower IC temps, Parked for 15 min. with stock set up, 40*C/80*F above ambient dry. Parked for 15 min. with heat shields, 3*C/6*F above ambient wet with ice water. That's 37*C/74*F colder when wet. :)

I know some of you will think It's ghetto, but it works, and that's what I care about the most...:) Anyways, highest before and after temps at MAF sensor, Highway driving average 6*C/12*F above ambient, Lowest 4*C/8*F above ambient, In city driving... On a 34*C/93*F day, the Highest 76*C/170*F, now 49*C/120*F, Average 60*C/140*F, now 42*C/101*F, Lowest 42*C/107*F, now 38*C91*F above ambient. That's a total average of about 25*C/50*F colder IAT as compared to the stock set up...

More fans galore, Stg 2 hood mods. :) Now on a 75F day ambient I can keep the IC temps below 85F when car is parked, and at ambient or lower when driving in the city. :) :) :)

Airflow test... Very fine 1/4\" wire...thicker wire would undoubtably make more of a difference.
